I share your sentiments that writing from the heart - or rather, as you might say, from our source - can give us the power to start to make a difference. I think this might well be the learning challenge that I explore at Joyful Jubilant Learning in September, and yes, I can see ways that these strands can come together serendipitously. I share your sentiments that writing from the heart – or rather, as you might say, from our source – can give us the power to start to make a difference. I think this might well be the learning challenge that I explore at Joyful Jubilant Learning in September, and yes, I can see ways that these strands can come together serendipitously.

A bit eerie in a wonderfully promising way, where the sum can definitely be greater than the individual parts. You had asked us, in the post before this one, for “thoughts on what authentic writing means to you - not just the dictionary definition, but what changes (has changed) when we write from the heart,” and THAT kind of authenticity is needed for the change that truly does make a difference. Authenticity is what sustains us for the long haul, because it is our truth, and as some wise person once said (wish I could remember who) the truth is so much easier to remember than a lie!
