Sharing words to make connections: new writing project coming up
As I said the other day, group writing projects are a great way to make new connections.
And as writing to make a connection is my focus for November this seemed like the perfect time to launch the first writing project here at Confident Writing.
I’m feeling just a little nervous about it as I haven’t done anything like this before - but I’m not going to let nervousness stand in the way of a new adventure. I’ve got a blogging friend working with me on the project, all of you to keep me right, plus the knowledge that it’s driven by a positive intention - sharing words, engaging with each other in a spirit of curiosity, writing to make a connection.
You’ll have to tune in later in the week to find out how to take part… All will be revealed this coming Thursday.
Meantime if you’re looking for some new blogs to discover, some writing to enjoy and some connections to make (it’s easy, leave a comment on the post you’ve just read!), why not dip into the 23 entries to the Middle Zone’s “What I Learned From Anything At All” project. You can find the full collection here.
To get future articles you might want to subscribe to the free RSS feed. You'll find more writing tips in the Confident Writing archive. Thanks for visiting!

Joanna, you can always count on me! I can’t wait to see what you’ve been cooking up (as long as it’s, er, not haggis!)
Hey Robert, don’t knock haggis!
I wrote a whole birthday post to my colleagues at Joyful Jubilant Learning in praise of the honest haggis!

OK, I’ll make a deal with ya! If you come to SOBCon ‘08, I’ll try a spoonful! (As long as it’s a small spoon…) :-\
I’ll be checking back in on Thursday, Joanna. Good luck with the experiment!
Robert - I think you might just have got yourself a deal!
