What I learned from blog comments in 2007

My contribution to What I Learned From is a little different this month – it’s been posted over at Middle Zone Musings as part of Robert’s Blogapalooza project.

I bent the rules a little to reflect on what I’d learned from blogging conversations during 2007 – in the comment box here, at Joyful Jubilant Learning and other places where I read, and write.

I know we’ve had some good conversations here about comments and what we can learn from them so I thought you might enjoy this piece too. Plus it’s inspired by you :-)

This was my conclusion to what I learned from comment-box conversations in 2007:

Comment boxes don’t look like much. They’re often hidden from view. Some people never bother to drop down there at all. And yet, for me,
they’re where blogging comes into its own – leading to new connections, partnerships and friendships; to learning and writing and collaborating; to frivolity, laughter and fun; to the fuel to keep on blogging – the inspiration and motivation to write.

Thanks to all of you for providing me with just that: the inspiration and the motivation to write.
