Today Is The Day To Buy The Age Of Conversation

29 March, 2008 Posted by Joanna As Snippets

If you haven’t already bought a copy of the Age of Conversation, today’s the day to go and buy it.

The Marketing Fresh Peel is working with Age of Conversation organisers to get mass sales of the book going through Amazon today (29th March), and to spread the word about the project through as many social media channels as possible.

All proceeds from the sale of the book go to Variety, the children’s charity.

The Age Of Conversation is a collaborative project written by over 100 writers and bloggers on the topic of the ‘age of conversation’. Each chapter is short and easy to read, with lots of ideas both theoretical and practical on marketing, blogging, social media and the power of the internet to make human connections.

There are some chapters on writing you might find particularly useful, like:

For more info you can check out my original review (including podcast) on The Age Of (Authentic) Conversation

But the main thing to do today is head over to Amazon, buy your copy of the book, and help to make a difference.

Joanna, I can’t wait to get my copy of AOC! It’s been such a great buzz over the blogosphere, twitter and digg, I got extremely curious. Hope they get to sell as many books as possible.

Alina, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it - I find it a useful source of reference over and above what I learned from it on the first read.

They’ve done well creating such a buzz today, let’s hope they get the Amazon sales they were hoping for
