Comment counts are probably my favourite sort of blogging milestone, and I was very happy to celebrate the 3,000th comment at Confident Writing yesterday.
Sonia Simone from Remarkable Communication was the commenter who hit the magic number, winning her choice of book from the Confident Writing store. (She chose The Writer’s Block, though somehow I don’t think she needs it!)
Thanks to everyone who comments here.
Your ideas, suggestions, recommendations, questions, answers, motivation and feedback are the fuel for this blog’s fire.

Wow Joanna, congratulations! That is an incredible milestone and one that you reached very quickly! I know that even greater things are in store for you!
Well done on achieving this landmark, Joanna!
Onwards to the next 3000
3000 comments – wow! Congratulations Joanna. You not only have quantity, but quality. Your conversations are among the best anywhere in the blogosphere. You’ve done a great job and just keep doing better.
It’s an amazing sense of accomplishment when you reach such a milestone isn’t it?
Congratulations Joanna! Blog on…
Wow, Joanna, that’s great! See? There’s a reason we all keep coming back (grin).
(Hmm, I wonder how many I have? Nowhere near that many, though, I know that…)
Well done Joanna. Made a donation and will read your book during the week. I believe some of the comments will be useful to the students and teachers that we work with through our site. Regards.
Karen, thank you, and for all the wonderful comments you’ve written here
Scott, thanks and likewise thanks for your own thoughtful contributions to the comment box
Brad, I think we have been learning how to host conversations together. Your own co-conversations are a delight to listen, watch, and take part in
Ricardo, it is. I love the comments most of all.
-Deb, you probably have more than you think. One of the nice things TypePad does is show me the number in the dashboard so I could watch it creeping up to the milestone. I’m sure WP can too – somewhere in its miraculous workings
Tom, thanks for the feedback and the contribution to MAD. Best wishes with your own work
Joanna

Congratulations, Joanna! I’m not at all surprised, just excited for you.
