Thanks For A Wonderful Welcome Back
What can I say? Bloggers are the best.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to post a welcome and haul some golden oldies out of the Confident Writing archive. It was greatly appreciated, more than I’ve the words to say.
Thank you to: Brad Shorr, Robert Hruzek, Karen Swim, Liz Strauss, Dawud Miracle, Drew McLellan, Ulla Hennig, Robyn McMaster, Jeanne Dininni, Lillie Ammann, Lori (SpaceAgeSage), Claire Raikes, Nadine Touzet, Amy Palko, Rick Mahn, Debbie Yost, Karen Putz, Meryl, Terry Starbucker, Steve Sherlock and Barbara Rozgonyi for taking part
An extra thanks to Daniel Smith – who I don’t even know! – for organising a graphic to go with the project, and a huge thanks to Karen Swim, Robert Hruzek and Brad Shorr for doing all the behind the scenes planning to make this surprise welcome-back-blogging project work so beautifully. Even it was at times, as Karen put it, harder than wrangling an ostrich
I’ll treasure all the posts your wrote, things you said, memories you shared, notes you penned, and graphics you designed. This Wordle version from Nadine was a particular treasure, and seems to capture the mood of the day
Thanks everyone.
Now back to the serious work of blogging!

Indeed, Joanna… let me also welcome you back on your own pages.
I’m looking forward to your post-holiday writing
Joanna, you’re welcome! Far too often we wait until things have ended to celebrate the person and their impact on our lives. This was a wonderful chance to celebrate your new beginnings and reflect on how you have touched our lives. It is a lesson I will carry forward. You are wonderful and I echo Liz’s words deep love and respect, always yours.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement, support and good wishes. You’re too much for me!
Ulla – you’re right – friendship and support *is* the business of blogging. The very best and most important bit of it. Thanks for reminding me.
Wilson, thanks and welcome to you!
SpaceAgeSage – I’m glad you like it. Those pens and pencils are such a simple image but they make me feel cheerful and creative too.
Funny news – I’m still recovering from all those great posts! I’m glad you like what you found here
