Joanna, we have three options here:

1. Love = Life
2. Fear = No life
3. Love and Fear = Transform the miserable life into a blessing life!

The wise person will know how to choose the correct life path...

Barbara, I agree we always have a choice. As Maya Angelou put it, if you don't like your situation, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude towards it. The second being possibly more audacious than the first!

Hi Joanna - This has been a great theme. Now I'm looking forward to the one you pick for February.

I love how you reminded us that we all have a choice. Too often people feel they're stuck, when in fact, if they stop and analyze their situation, opportunities abound.

Rosa, when I thought about the definition I knew it needed the addition of positive intention... but I know you'll set that anyway. Thanks for popping in - means a lot to me to know you're still there

Joanna, you said,
"I think I’d define audacity as the choice to move beyond the limits of fear."
and I think it's a great definition. It's a choice I would like to make more in the weeks and months to come. Such a fabulous word; a keeper.

George, thank you :-) I keep on looking at it and going 'wow!' too ;-)

Gennaro - I haven't heard that before, but I like it. And how vivid and real it can appear. Learning how to call fear's bluff is so important - and something I think we can help each to do... to grow, and thrive.

Thanks for the thought, and helping me find the hook into <strike>next</strike> this month's theme.

Fear is (F)alse (E)vidence (A)ppearing (R)eal

We should never let it stop us from thriving.

Davina, like you I remember a conversation - maybe on Twitter - about comfort zones and getting out of them. The answer was that you'll inevitably come up against your fears - and need to look them in the eye and move past them. That's the only way you can 'arrive' as you so neatly put it. Have a great weekend too.

Joely, the song is probably more thoughtful than audacious but I love the way it captures the choices we have... each and every day. And it really has been playing along with me this month.

Karen, you are a wonderful risk taker... partly because you're not afraid to stumble and fall. I'm glad you've found your way to the next phase, whatever that means to you. Although we'll move on to something else next month... audacity doesn't stop! I'm certainly going to be taking this one with me for the rest of the year.
