What Are the Poems that the World is Telling?
Tongue tied lines of grief at sorrow, inexpressible
Silent pools of tears at the rupture of the land
Apologies of words for the pain that others bear for us
Defiant declarations of the life that pulses on
A chorus of wonder at the moon, dipping low for us
Gasps of delight at the dawning of the spring.
Fumbling, inadequate, stanzas matchless to the task:
Unstoppable, indelible, simply love lines from the heart.
These are the poems that the world is telling.

This so speaks to me. This poem captures the many free floating feelings/ideas I’ve experienced recently. Amazing!
Stunning Joanna.
